Mid Atlantic Geriatric Care

Manchester and Ocean NJ
As an Alzheimer’s disease specialist, Dr. Shua-Haim is deeply committed to treating Alzheimer’s disease and other memory related problems.
MAGA also provides caregiver education and facilitates one of the largest Alzheimer’s disease caregiver support groups in the state.
Mid Atlantic Geriatric Association believes that Alzheimer’s disease is a DISEASE OF TWO VICTIMS. That is why we offer a support group program for families and caregivers to come together to learn more about Alzheimer’s disease and discuss their feelings and concerns.
It is our desire to provide the second victims of this disease with the emotional support and education they need to better understand the disease process; and cope with the myriad of emotional, financial, behavioral and physical issues confronting them on a daily basis.
Our support group facilitator has been trained by the Alzheimer’s Association, and collaborates with the Greater New Jersey Chapter (http://www.alznj.org/supportgroups.html#ocean) to provide the latest up to date information and tips available.
This group meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month at Leisure Park (http://leisureparknewjersey.com/) in Lakewood, New Jersey. The program starts promptly at 2:00 PM. For more information contact:
